Hotel Overview The Portola Plaza Hotel is a luxury resort in the middle of everything. Our 370 guest rooms and 10 executive suites, some with bay views overlooking the Pacific Ocean, offering all the comfort, security and luxury a discerning guest may wish for. We are just steps away from Fisherman's Wharf and Monterey Bay, adjacent to the Monterey Maritime Museum.
Our luxurious rooms come with an array of amenities, including high-speed internet access, coffee makers, hairdryer, bathroom scale, upgraded towels, two phones and pay-per-view movies.
Please note: We are very excited to announce that beginning in mid-December we will be renovating our Spa and Pool, along with several other areas of the hotel. During this time the Pool will be closed. The Spa will continue to operate in designated Spa Rooms within the hotel. Please accept our apology if you are inconvenienced in any way during this period, but we want to do everything we can to be certain that our facilities continue to offer our guests the best experience in Monterey.
