Hotel Overview Ideally located within the nation?s largest urban Historic Landmark District, the Dresser Palmer House features 15 luxury guest rooms, 10 with working gas fireplaces, all with private baths. Built in 1876 as a duplex for the Dresser and Palmer families, the 11,000 square foot property was converted into an Inn in 1997. Enjoy our wonderful front verandah, reputed to be the longest front porch in Savannah. Off the second floor at the rear of the house is a very large shared verandah looking out over the lush tropical back gardens.
