Hotel Overview The exquisite Hotel Palomar is located on Fourth and Market Streets in downtown San Francisco. It is just 2 blocks south of Union Square, the city's principal shopping area, 1 block north of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Moscone Convention Center and the new Sony Metreon Center.
Located in a landmark building built in 1908, The Hotel Palomar, which opened in 1999, is highly styled with a nod to the 1930's with rich interiors accented with designer furniture, metallic finishes and distinctive contemporary art.
All rooms feature either a single king bed or 2 full size beds with comfortable seating and oversized desk. Designer Cheryl Rowley created the decor. The rooms are styled in muted tones and feature leopard carpet, down bedding, and oak headboards with emerald green accents. The emphasis is on privacy.
