When founder Addison Mizner unveiled his 100-room luxurious Cloister Inn in 1926, he envisioned it as "the greatest resort in the world." Over 75 years later, that Inn has become the renowned Boca Raton Resort & Club, a 1041-room Mediterranean-style destination resort, located in Palm Beach County on Florida's Gold Coast. One of the country's premier properties of its kind, the Resort & Club's casual elegance abounds throughout its championship tennis and golf, spa, marina, half-mile of private beach, exquisite dining outlets and more. Allowing guests the option to personalize their vacation experience, the Resort & Club is comprised of five distinct accommodation styles; all presenting a warm residential feel. All guestrooms and suites were recently renovated at a cost of $26 million. The Cloister, the original Resort structure, has 359 rooms, inclusive of 24 suites, and offers Spanish-influenced Mediterranean style design. Offering 112 rooms inclusive of 12 suites, the eight-story Venetian-style Yacht Club is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway. Each room features its own private water-view balcony, and the Yacht Club's Commodore Club concierge lounge provides the utmost in personalized service. The 242-room Tower presides 27 stories over the Intracoastal Waterway, and includes 90 suites. It also offers panoramic views of the golf course and Atlantic Ocean. The Boca Beach Club, located on the Atlantic Ocean, offers 208 deluxe guestrooms, inclusive of 13 suites. The casually elegant oceanfront structure features a half-mile of private beach and more. The Golf Villas, including 120 rooms and suites, are secluded from the main hotel and overlook the Resort golf course. Featuring a world-class array of fine to casual dining outlets, the Resort & Club is home to 19 dining and entertainment options. Fine dining venues include 27 Ocean Blue, offering panoramic views and Coastal Cuisine; Lucca, featuring authentic Tuscan cuisine and Intracoastal views and Nick's Fishmarket at the Boca Beach Club, offering elegant seafood in an ocean-side atmosphere. Casual options include Chauncey's, overlooking the Resort golf course; the Cathedral, a breakfast room with ambiance of old-world elegance; and the Cabana Dining Room, offering tropical beach dining. A full range of recreational amenities are offered at the Resort & Club, including three eighteen-hole championship golf courses, 30 tennis courts, a new spa, full-service marina, several pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, and half-mile stretch of private beach with a variety of water sports.
