Hotel OverviewAmelia's Place located in an old factory building (1924) is a Bed and Breakfast deep in the heart of downtown Dallas. Amelia serves a breakfast "so GOOD and so BIG you can skip lunch" in a relaxed welcoming surroundings. Play Amelia's piano, enjoy a free "Happy Hour" every day, spirited conversation, scrabble, or books/magazines from her extensive library. The Dart Trolley bus stops at Amelia's front door every 10 minutes connecting to the entire Dart system. Amelia welcomes people of any color, unmarried couples, same-sex couples, and smokers (but not in the bedrooms). Amelia's Place is not suitable for pets, children, snobs, bigots, nor fanatics, so leave your prejudices at home. She especially enjoys people of intelligence, integrity, and compassion. PLEASE NOTE: No children under age 14 allowed on property.
